Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Team Leader to lead our Platform Engineering team – a person combining strong technical expertise in infrastructure, automation, and developer experience (DevEx) with team management experience and the ability to build an internal engineering community.
About the Team
We create tools, services, and solutions that enable product teams to deliver business value faster, safer, and more efficiently. Our Platform Engineering team forms the heart of the organization’s technical infrastructure, supporting both cloud infrastructure and developer experience. We work on Internal Developer Platforms (IDP), deployment automation, DORA metrics, self-service tooling, and integration with the DevOps ecosystem. Our solutions prioritize scalability, security, cost-efficiency, and user experience.
Responsibilities
Ensuring development tasks are completed according to established technical standards.
Supporting the Product Manager in coordinating team activities in the area of technological solutions.
Collaborating with other teams to design optimal solution architectures.
Ensuring high team efficiency by identifying and mitigating obstacles in the development process.
Monitoring ongoing work and assisting in resolving technical issues.
Supporting team growth through training, mentoring, and regular 1:1 meetings.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Several years of experience in the role of Senior Developer, Tech Lead, Architect, or Platform Engineer.
Several years of experience in formal team management as a manager.
Hands-on experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, or other).
Solid background and hands-on professional experience in Java development.
Deep knowledge of: IaC (Infrastructure as Code), containerization, orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD.
Experience designing and maintaining Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) or similar platform tools.
Experience with artifact repository systems (Artifactory, Nexus, or similar).
Practical knowledge of DORA metrics (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time, Change Failure Rate, Time to Restore).
Experience implementing self-service tools and automation for product teams.
Experience with GitLab, including GitLab Runners, GitLab CI/CD, and infrastructure integration.
Knowledge of scalability, performance, security, and cost management in technical platforms.
Experience working with distributed remote teams.

Technical Skills We Expect
Commercial experience in designing architecture and implementing complex infrastructure systems.
Practical proficiency in: Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or similar).
Experience architecting and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment systems.
Experience with GitLab (GitLab Runners, GitLab CI/CD, GitOps) or similar systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Experience with artifact management systems (Artifactory, Nexus, ECR).
Practical programming/scripting skills (Python, Go, Bash, or Shell scripting) in the context of automation.
Experience building self-service tools for developers (APIs, CLIs, documentation).
Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or similar).
Experience diagnosing and optimizing performance and infrastructure issues.
Practical use of AI tools in engineering work (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT for infrastructure code).
Experience working with configuration management tools (Git, Policy as Code).
Nice to Have
Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) from a platform team perspective.
Experience implementing and maintaining DORA metrics for an organization.
Experience with Multi-Cloud or Hybrid Cloud architecture.
Experience with Security & Compliance in infrastructure context (RBAC, secrets management, compliance scanning).
Experience with Cost Optimization and FinOps in cloud environments.
Experience building and maintaining disaster recovery and high availability systems.
Experience with GitOps and progressive delivery (Flux, ArgoCD, Kyverno).
Certifications in Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) or Kubernetes areas.
Experience mentoring and conducting training for technical teams.
